The aggregate (1) has an intercooler (23) arranged downstream to a compressor (20) of a turbocharger (12) and an exhaust gas recirculation unit (27). The exhaust gas recirculation unit removes exhaust gas from an exhaust tract (7) of a diesel internal-combustion engine (2). Two exhaust return lines (28, 29) bring the exhaust gas into an intake tract (6) and comprise an exhaust gas post-treating system (33) that comprises a three-way exhaust gas recirculation catalyzer (35). The recirculation catalyzer is integrated into an exhaust reconducting particle filter (34). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a drive aggregate.
