The method involves detecting multiple traffic data e.g. building sites, disturbances, blockages or meetings, in a transportation network (100), where the traffic data originate from multiple data sources and include different spatial and temporal availabilities. Correlation references between the traffic data from the data sources are determined. Interpolated traffic data is determined based on the traffic data associated to each other, and traffic conditions are determined based on the interpolated traffic data. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising a set of instructions for executing a method for determining traffic conditions in a transport network (2) a system for determining traffic conditions in a transport network.
