The station has high speed rotor turbines for directly driving permanent magnet excited synchronous generators and arranged next to each other in a frame of a tower. Limitation of nominal power of the station is produced by a combination of current limitation of the individual generators with rotation of the frame by flow of wind. The turbines are formed such that maximum speed of the turbines are set as nominal speed of the turbines, and the individual generators are electronically controlled for producing maximum power of the station for each wind speed.
