The battery is charged by lost heat of an internal combustion engine and/or supplied by a gas station network. A heat storage is constructed for the gas station network. The battery has a current and heat storage function. Exchanging assemblies operate the gas station network. A fuel tank is retrofitted corresponding to the heat storage. A pipe system produces heat energy by heat radiation and heat conduction. Transport medium such as water and paraffin, are used in the battery for heat transfer.
