The device (1) has a pneumatic spring bellows (2) connected with a pneumatic spring piston (4) and a pneumatic spring lid (5). An external periphery of the piston is partly formed as a piston bellows (6) whose outer contour is changed when overpressure lies against the piston bellows. Pressure mediums in the spring bellows and the piston bellows are in communication with each another by an adjustable and/or controllable pressure transmission element (7) e.g. pressure transmitter, so that amount of the mediums present in volumes of the device remains constant during change of the contour.
