Method for adjusting e.g. driver assistance function, of motor car, involves setting regulation for function to adjust manipulated variable depending on input variable based on received values, and controlling function based on regulation
The method involves receiving values (S) of a manipulated variable of function e.g. comfort, driver assistance, medium, ergonomic and drive functions, of a car and values (Tan, Tim) of an input variable. A regulation is set for the function to adjust the manipulated variable depending on the input variable based on the received values. The function is controlled based on the regulation. The input variable is selected from a group consisting of temperature, point in time, length of travel distance, driving duration, a position of driving dynamics switch, road type and speed of the car. The driver assistance function is selected from a group consisting of night vision function, head up display function, spacing cruise control, an overhauling assistant, a high beam assistant, a track switching warning and/or a lane departure warning. The medium function is selected from a group consisting of radio operation, a MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3player operation and multimedia function such as enamel or Internet and/or TV functions. The ergonomic function is selected from a group consisting of a seat position, a steering wheel position and/or an automatic windshield wiper position. An independent claim is also included for a car comprising a control unit.
