The test stand has a load device (2) oscillating around a main axis (X), and a lever arm (5) extending away from a cabinet (2a) of the load device. A force measuring unit (7) coupled with the lever arm measures the force applied by the lever arm on the force measuring unit. Temperature measuring units (8, 9) measure the temperature of the cabinet or the lever arm. An evaluating device corrects a value measured by the force measuring unit based on the temperature measured by the temperature measuring units. An independent claim is also included for a method for increasing the measuring accuracy with a test stand.
