The machine has a stator comprising a coil arrangement with a coil unit (1) that comprises an annular coil (2) arranged between two pole plates (4) around a rotation axis (3). The plates are made of sintered soft magnetic composite. The plates comprise alternately embracing cuboid claws (5) that are placed on the coil. Teeth regions (6) are defined adjacent to a rotor by incisions (7). The plates have teeth (8) corresponding to number of claws, where the teeth protrude axially from the claws. The claws have an extension that is larger along a radial direction than a circumferential direction.
