The vehicle (2) has multiple image capturing units (3, 4) for detecting areas (E3, E4) located at side adjacent to and another side behind the vehicle. The image capturing units assign display units (5, 6) that display images detected by using the associated image capturing units. The image capturing units include infrared cameras (3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2) e.g. near infrared cameras, which detect near infrared radiation and/or far infrared radiation. Image processing units (9.1, 10.1) are provided to a merger by near infrared radiation captured images and far infrared radiation captured images.
