The arrangement (10) has a climb (14) provided with a set of step treads (16, 18, 20) that is arranged one above the other. A door is arranged above the climb and formed as a sliding door (12). The sliding door is brought from a closing position into an opening position along a rearward direction. The step treads are adjustable between a usage position and a non-usage position. Lower sides of the step treads form an outer lining of a motor vehicle in the non-usage position. The step treads are supported at a frame, and the sliding door is opened in an opening traverse angle of 80-90 degree.
