The device has LEDs (3) attached to tubular reflectors to control light radiated from the LEDs in a light-beam cone at a predetermined reflected beam angle on a road. The tubular reflectors are made of heat conducting material e.g. metal. The LEDs are arranged within a trough-shaped reflector (13) on a substrate. The tubular reflectors are thermally coupled to one of the trough-shaped reflectors and/or to the substrate. The reflected beam angle of the light-beam cone ranges between 30 degree and 60 degree.
