The method involves heating a combustion chamber (3) of each cylinder of a heat engine by a heating element i.e. heating pencil (18), of heater plug (1), where the heating element contains a heat resistive element and emerges into a space of the combustion chamber. The heating of chamber of the engine is activated during idle phases, and the heater plug is screwed by a thread (22), where the heat engine is operated along a four-stroke cycle based on partial or total deactivation of enrichment devices and based on electric heating device of the chamber.
