The book (1) has a page (2) on which a two-directional barcode (3) is printed. The barcode represents universal address i.e. URL, permitting access to a reading or downloading operation of an electronic book corresponding to the book. The two-directional barcode is identical to or different from two-directional barcodes printed on the other books of same hard copy. The barcode is read by a barcode reader of a portable electronic apparatus.
