The method comprises producing a model of a metal part to form a sublimable material, coating a model of a first refractory coating, placing the model of the sublimable material in a tank, filling the tank with sand to form a mold, casting a molten metal alloy into the mold, depressing the tank, cooling the metal alloy, and removing the metal part obtained from the mold. The part of the mold is covered by a second coating, and the part of the model coated by the coating is a tab of a cylinder head. An independent claim is included for an internal combustion engine cylinder head.
