PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sodium hypochlorite stabilizer suppressing effectively decomposition of sodium hypochlorite in a sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution even under coexistence of a heavy metal, and maintaining the sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution in the clear state, and to provide the sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution.;SOLUTION: The sodium hypochlorite stabilizer contains 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid (PBTCA), an alkaline earth metal ion and an alkali metal ion. The sodium hypochlorite aqueous solution contains the sodium hypochlorite stabilizer as much as ≥0.01 mass% in terms of 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
