PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform distribution management of a file while avoiding alteration of a source code of an existing part.;SOLUTION: A distribution file operation program executes the following processing: generating an operation request about a file based on a first protocol, for a computer connected to an arrangement information management device managing arrangement information of the file and multiple file management devices storing the file through a network; querying the arrangement information management device about the arrangement information of the file by designating an identifier of the file included in the operation request; and transmitting the operation request to the file management device shown by the arrangement information which is replied in response to the query.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
