PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a diagnostic result explanation report for much more intelligibly explaining the diagnostic result of a patient.SOLUTION: This diagnostic result explanation report creation device includes: diagnostic information storage means 26; commentary information storage means 28; template storage means 27 for storing an explanation template prepared for each of various diagnostic results with an insertion area into which at least a portion of each of diagnostic information and commentary information can be inserted; input means 21 for inputting patient specification information of a patient; diagnostic information acquisition means 22 for, on the basis of the patient specification information of the pertinent patient, acquiring the diagnostic information of the patient; template acquisition means 23 for, on the basis of the diagnostic result of the acquired diagnostic information, acquiring the explanation template prepared for this diagnostic resu commentary information acquisition means 24 for acquiring commentary information from the commentary information storage means; and diagnostic result explanation report creation means 25 for creating a diagnostic result explanation report by inserting necessary diagnostic information and commentary information into the acquired explanation template.
