PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation structure for being provided on soft ground.SOLUTION: In a block, either of front and back rectangular surfaces assumes a flat shape; a longitudinal portion is divided into portions A, B and C; the portion A assumes a square shape and the length of the portion A is set twice as long as that of the portion C; the ratio between the height of the portions A and C on both sides and that of the central portion B is set to be 0.5:1; pinholes for coupling blocks to each other are provided in the portions A and C; and a through-hole for making the water circulate in a horizontal direction is provided. A foundation structure for countermeasures against soft ground uses the block.
