PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitute return guidance device, a substitute return guidance method, and a substitute return guidance system that give energetic advantages to a substitute returning person and saves the trouble that a borrowing person takes to return.SOLUTION: There is provided a navigation device 12 which gives a guidance of a substitute return of a return battery 26 which needs to be returned to a return spot to a vehicle 15 which has a mounting part 19 where a battery 18 is detachably mounted and can travel with electric power of the battery 18 mounted at the mounting part 19. A control unit 34 acquires current place information on the vehicle 15, destination information, and substitute return desire information, and displays substitute return guidance information at a display unit 32 when the remaining capacity of a vehicle's own battery 25 mounted at the mounting part 19 when the vehicle arrives at the destination is larger when the vehicle travels from the current place to the destination via a reception spot and the return spot using the vehicle's own battery 25 and the return battery 26 than when the vehicle travels from the current place to the destination using the vehicle's own battery 25.
