PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind resistant structure for a bridge capable of achieving effective vibration suppression with a simple structure even when a wind direction changes.;SOLUTION: A wind resistant structure for a bridge 1 having two main plate girders 3 under a floor slab 2 comprises: flow guide plates 7 installed under the main plate girders 3 with gaps 6 so as to suppress generation of a separation vortex by directing air flowing from an outside to the bridge 1 in a width direction downward under the slab 2 through the gaps 6; and fairing 8 extended outward from edge sections of the slab 2 in the width direction thereof so as to direct the air flowing from the outside to the bridge 1 in the width direction toward the main plate girders 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
