PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently drive/turn an endless chain in the direction reverse to the turning direction for scraping sludge, and to prevent the deformation of a link plate and a shaft member as well.;SOLUTION: The endless-chain driving structure for use in a sludge scraper is equipped with shaft members 10 each attached to a driving rotor 3 and engaging with notches 14 each formed on an endless chain 2 to which sludge scraping members are to be attached. The shape of the notches 14 is so formed that the notches 14 each have an engaging part 33 for the normal rotation with which each of the shaft members 10 is allowed to engage along its outer circumferential face upon turning the endless chain 2 in the turning direction for scraping sludge, and another engaging part 34 for the reverse rotation which allows each of the shaft members 10 to engage along its outer circumferential face upon driving and turning the endless chain 2 in the direction reverse to the turning direction for scraping sludge.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
