PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an optical fiber-embedded fiber-reinforced composite material laminated sheet, which reliably prevents breakage of an optical fiber not only in shaping a fiber-reinforced composite material laminated sheet, but also in actual use after shaping, and monitors accurately a load history of the fiber-reinforced composite material laminated sheet, and to provide the optical fiber-embedded fiber-reinforced composite material laminated sheet.SOLUTION: The method comprises the step of: embedding the optical fiber inside while laminating a prepreg (embedding process A); aligning the outer peripheral end of the prepreg by an elastic resin frame member to allow the elastic resin frame member to support the optical fiber so that a takeoff part of the optical fiber may fit into a notch part so as to be protected (alignment and protecting process B); mounting the prepreg on a surface plate, surrounding the circumference by a seal material, and covering by a back film to carry out vacuuming (suction process C); heating and pressure-molding the prepreg to form a laminated sheet (forming process D); and cutting it so as to leave a part supporting the optical fiber of the elastic resin frame member at least as an end protector (cutting process E).
