PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable polyester-based resin composition, which can be easily processed into a molded product, fiber, or the like and enables to obtain a molded product, fiber, or the like having good mechanical and physical properties.;SOLUTION: The biodegradable polyester-based resin composition, molded product, or fiber includes swelling phyllosilicate processed with a 3-hydroxyalkanoate polymer and an organic ammonium salt compound represented by general formula (1) [NR1R2R3R4]+X- (wherein X denotes a halogen atom, R1-R4 denote 1-20C hydrocarbon groups and hydrogen atoms), and satisfies the following conditions: (a) the value [N] of swelling phyllosilicate in the biodegradable polyester-based resin composition is 30 or more (where the value [N] denotes the number of particles per unit weight ratio of swelling phyllosilicate present in the area of 100 μm2 of the resin composition) and (b) the average aspect ratio (layer length/layer thickness) of swelling phyllosilicate in the biodegradable polyester-based resin composition is 10 or more.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
