PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new 4-vinyl catechol polymer compound having more powerful physiological activity than well-known epigallocatechin gallate, and to provide a synthetic method thereof.;SOLUTION: This invention relates to a compound represented by formula (1).
