PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-column processor capable of displaying, when performing multi-column processing on a content composed of documents and images, the content in various display sizes without giving discomfort to a user by adjusting a line alignment of each column.SOLUTION: A multi-column processor 10 is provided with: a selection unit 15 for selecting, from respective lines arranged in each column, line alignment target lines and line alignment non-target lines when a reference line spacing is set, the line alignment target lines being lines that are to be aligned based on the reference line spacing, the line alignment non-target lines being lines that are not to be aligned, and the reference line spacing being a reference for the spacing between lines in each column; and an arrangement unit 19 for arranging the line alignment non-target lines by using, for the selected line alignment non-target lines, a line spacing which is different to the reference line spacing.
