PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a patient to designate a pharmacy located on a route which is convenient for the patient, and to search for a pharmacy having the inventory of medicine which the patient needs.SOLUTION: A pharmacy information providing device includes: map information storage means for storing map information; pharmacy information storage means for storing the location information and medicine inventory information on a pharmacy for each piece of pharmacy information; prescription information reception means for receiving prescription information and current location information and destination information on a patient from a portable terminal; route search means for searching for a route between the current location and the destination by referring to the map information storage means; pharmacy specification means for specifying a pharmacy located on the route; information processing means for specifying the pharmacy having the prescription relating to the prescription information as an inventory; and processing result transmission means for transmitting a processing result showing the pharmacy specified by the information processing means as well as the route on a map to the portable terminal.
