PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute earthquake early warning relating to a fixed-line telephone, to notify earthquake information such as estimated earthquake intensity, arrival window time, etc. , and to enable the earthquake information to be transmitted even to a telephone call partner who does not contract distribution of the earthquake information.;SOLUTION: The earthquake early warning is received from the Meteorological Agency 2 by an earthquake news flash distribution server 3, and is distributed via the Internet network 4. A fixed-line telephone 5 holds present position information of a self device, calculates the estimated earthquake intensity and the arrival window time in a present position based on the earthquake early warning received from the earthquake news flash distribution server 3, then notifies to a user using sound or display. Moreover, when the earthquake early warning is received within telephone conversation, if an area code of telephone number of a telephone call partner is the same as the area code of ours, then the estimated earthquake intensity and the arrival window time which are calculated are to be transmitted to a telephone 6 of the other partner.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
