PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of CO2 flux for evaluating absorbed amount of CO2 in the entire forest with a high degree of accuracy.;SOLUTION: In this method, based on the fact that for the ratio between εTSAS/εTEC, a dissipation rate in temperature variation when using a scintillometer and that of when using eddy correlation method, both correlation with the ratio RA between measurement range ASAS in using the scintillometer and AEC in using an eddy correlation sensor, RA(=ASAS/AEC) and correlation with atmospheric turbulent intensity σw/u are high, this atmospheric turbulent intensity σw/u is measured while previously preparing a relational expression with these two elements of RA and σw/u as its parameters. Then sensible heat flux HEC calculated by the eddy correlation method is compensated to sensible heat flux HSAS equivalent to the value calculated by using the scintillometer, in addition, both latent heat flux λEEC and CO2 flux FcEC calculated by the eddy correlation method are also compensated to latent heat flux λESAS and CO2 flux FcSAS equivalent to the values calculated by using the scintillometer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
