PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire behaviors of unspecified person in a specific building in a specific area by an inexpensive method. PSOLUTION: This position recognition device for unspecified person has a means for detecting the conveyed position of an object by the unspecified person, having an IC chip removably attached to the conveyed object arranged in a fixed place which shows an original position, and conveyed by the unspecified person, and detecting the conveyance of the conveyed object from the original position by the IC chip; a shoe sole pressure sensor for sensing the pressure of each predetermined part of the shoe sole of the unspecified person; an unspecified person shoe sole pressure pattern storage means for inputting pressure information of each part of the shoe sole of the unspecified person from the shoe sole pressure sensor and generating and storing a shoe sole pressure pattern; and a shoe sole pressure pattern registering means according to unspecified persons, for registering conveyance information of the conveyed object detected by the conveyance detecting means, correspondingly in combination with a false pattern which deforms the shoe sole pressure pattern of the unspecified person stored by the shoe sole pressure pattern storage means.
