PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte-catalyst composite electrode manufactured from an inexpensive material by a simple manufacturing method, having a high utilization factor of a catalyst even when using an electrolyte of high viscosity, and having excellent electrode characteristics of quickly reducing an oxidant of a redox pair included in the electrolyte, and to provide its manufacturing method and a dye-sensitized solar battery having excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency. PSOLUTION: The electrode comprises the electrolyte including chemical species used as the redox pair, conductive fibers or grains of three-dimensional mesh structure brought into mutual contact or stuck to one another and electrically conductive, and a catalyst substance.
