PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide anatase type titanium oxide fine particles having high freedom with respect to the range of absorbable lights and a method for producing the anatase type titanium oxide fine particles.;SOLUTION: The anatase type titanium oxide fine particles have a band gap Eg of 3.87 eVEg4.13 eV and are generated by pulse laser ablation with a pulsed laser beam having a laser fluence of 0.25 J/cm² or more to a raw material consisting of rutile type titanium oxide and being placed in a liquid such as distilled water, ammonia aqueous solution, nitric acid aqueous solution and the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
