PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for classifying blinking data which permits information suitable for classifying the kind of an electrooculogram (EOG) waveform of blinking and to identify the kind of the blinking to be efficiently added to blinking data relating to the electrooculogram (EOG) waveform, a pattern model generation instrument utilizing the instrument for data classification, a blinking waveform appearance frequency information generator, an arousal evaluation instrument, an interpretation instrument, and a warning instrument. PSOLUTION: Three parameters including the peak of the waveform (distance), rising time to the peak, and fall time from the peak in blinking waveform data are normalized. Then, the normalized parameters are classified by using a prescribed clustering method, and identification information of the kind of blinking is added to data on the amount of characteristics of the blinking image data and the three parameters on the basis of the result of the classification to generate learning data.
