PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillating body apparatus such as a light deflector configured to be easily made compact. PSOLUTION: The oscillating body apparatus has: a first oscillating body 102; a second oscillating body 101; a support 104; coils 106 and 107; an electric current supplying means which applies electric current signal to the coils; and a magnetic field generation means 110 which applies a magnetic field on the coils. The second oscillating body 101 supports the first oscillating body 102 via a first torsion spring 103 torsionally around a first turning axis. The support 104 supports the second oscillating body 101 via a second torsion spring 105 torsionally around a second rotation axis which forms an angle with respect to the first turning axis of the first oscillating body. The coils 106 and 107 are arranged on the second oscillating body 101. The coils 106 and 107 do not turn around the first oscillating body 102 and is localized in at least one of regions of the second oscillating body 101 divided into four parts by the extended lines of the first and the second turning axes.
