PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power quality maintenance supporting method for power distribution system which maintains appropriate power quality in the power distribution system where a plurality of decentralized power sources are interconnected, thereby suppressing the occurrence of dispersion among the decentralized power sources. PSOLUTION: In this power quality maintenance method for a power distribution system; the state data of the power distribution system where a plurality of decentralized power sources are interconnected, and the operation data of these decentralized power sources, are collected to estimate the distribution state of the voltage of the power distribution system. A voltage-deviated point where the distribution line of the power distribution system is deviated from a voltage range is searched from the estimate of the distribution state of the voltage. In case that there is a voltage-deviated point, the control values are calculated each to the plurality of decentralized power sources interconnected with the power distribution system. The situation of the power flow of the distribution system and the distribution of the voltage is calculated from the calculated control values in the case where the plurality of decentralized power sources are operated. Based on the situation of the calculated power flow and the distribution of the voltage, the control command to the decentralized power sources intended for control is calculated, thus the operation of decentralized power source is performed to maintain the voltage of the distribution system in proper range.
