PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder muddy water treatment agent capable of treating muddy water of high concentration without dilution.;SOLUTION: The powder muddy water treatment agent contains adsorptive substances, carbonate, inorganic coagulant, and polymer coagulant. The polymer coagulant is a mixture of a first polymer coagulant and a second polymer coagulant. The first polymer coagulant has a property that, when the concentration of coagulation power degradation causing substances contained in muddy water is not less than a predetermined value, the coagulation power is rapidly degraded due to the coagulation power degradation reaction with the coagulation power degradation causing substances, and if the first polymer coagulant is added to muddy water in which the coagulation power degradation causing substances of the predetermined concentration or over are present, both the coagulation reaction and the coagulation power degradation reaction are advanced.
