PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, method and program for simplifying a shape of a three-dimensional model, for directly simplifying the shape of a three-dimensional model of a voxel form.;SOLUTION: A three-dimensional model input part 11 inputs the voxel data of a three-dimensional model, and stores the data in a three-dimensional model storage part 12, and a simplification specification input part 13 inputs simplification specifications, and a preliminary data generation part 14 generates voxel data for shape reference and voxel data for shape conversion based on the voxel data and simplification specifications of the three-dimensional model, and a simplification calculation part 15 compares the voxel data of the three-dimensional model with the voxel data for shape reference, and detects voxel data for shape reference from the voxel data of the three-dimensional model, and converts the detected voxel data for shape reference into voxel data for shape conversion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
