PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formaldehyde-based adhesive scarcely generating formaldehyde isolated and generated when used and to provide a wall surface-applying method and a wall surface structure for preventing occurrence of the isolated formaldehyde by forming a specific ground layer on the wall surface.;SOLUTION: The modified formaldehyde-based adhesive is obtained by adding zeolite or bentonite to a formaldehyde-based adhesive. The wall surface-applying method comprises applying the formaldehyde-based adhesive to the surface forming the ground layer composed of gypsum plaster powder, bentonite powder and water on the wall surface or applying the formaldehyde-based adhesive to the surface forming the ground layer composed of bentonite powder on the wall surface in the presence or absence of the gypsum plaster powder.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
