A plant growth promoting and quality enhancing agent is described. The agent contains a water insoluble inorganic micronutrient sprayed to a particle size that is no larger than a specified particle size and is effective over a long period of time if applied a small number of times to a seed, root, nursery and a base of a plant. Also described is a process for promoting growth and enhancing plant quality.
