摘要

The present investigation deals with synthesis of CdS nanorods by simple and inexpensive electrodeposition method from the acidic bath at room temperature. The stainless steel substrates were used. The structural, surface morphological and optical properties of the CdS nanorods have been studied using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and optical absorption properties, respectively. By using electrodeposition method, polycrystalline hexagonal CdS thin films with matured nanorods are formed. The double exposure holographic interferometry (DEHI) technique is used together with simple mathematical interpretation which immediately locate thickness of CdS nanorods, mass deposited, stress to substrate and fringe width for electrodeposited CdS nanorods,
