ANY TIME POWER has created ‘critical Mass’ (150 to 2800 tons water) with a water-head between (33M to 250M) before penstock; this critical mass falls on the turbines generating electric power. Before the turbine the pipe is divided in two halves with a 2”thick baffle plate one half water goes through the turbine (work done) and the other half allowed to bypass the turbine. The ‘tail race’ water falls into the racing water and all water returned to main reservoir due to increased pressure (after diameter reduced 50%) on the smooth upward slope. Water flows through the ‘Surge tanks’ to avoid “water hammering”. Multiple sets of 2..4..6..turbines are installed at both sides of the dam(lower) giving great advantage to SCALABILITY of such power Plants. We need not wait (Jan to Aug) for rains since recycled water maintains levels without using power (ALWAYS and EVERYTIME -hence 24 x 7 power generation).
