METHOD FOR DETECTING IMPAIRED VISUAL GNOSIS BASED ON ASSESSMENT OF INFORMATION CAPACITY OF VISUAL PERCEPTION

A method for detecting the impaired visual gnosis based on the assessment of the information capacity of the visual perception provides for presentation of images in monitor to the patients. Four images representing the points against the white background with increasing amount of the points approaching the integral image of the object are presented. When any of four images are recognized, the person under examination presses any button of the keyboard. The level of the information capacity of the visual perception is assessed by "percentage of filling" for each of four images. The average level of the information capacity is calculated. The level exceeding 3 % is indicative of the impaired visual gnosis.
