A device for measurement of rate of cutter tool wear includes a thermo-couple that is formed by the cutter instrument and the part being processed. The holder of the cutter tool is surrounded by a magnetic core with winding. Between the cutter tool holder and the magnetic core an insulation pad is placed. Amplifier is connected to the winding of magnetic core. Output of the amplifier is connected to the input of registration device. For control of cutter tool wear at processing parts that do not conduct electric current one uses indicator of electric emission and a block for comparison of signals.
