A method for safe disassembly of cartridges of automatic small arms of caliber 12.7/14 millimeters and artillery rounds/shells of caliber 20/23/45/57/76 millimeters wherein additionally after removal of the case with charge fixed in it from the holder of screw-cutting lathe one performs in sequence operations according to which one extracts the percussion primer and finally unpacks the artillery round.
