The invention relates to experimental medicine, in particular to a method for detection of the obstructive changes in the respiratory organs of the experimental animals with the spontaneous arterial hypertension. According to the invention, SHR rats with the spontaneous arterial hypertension are used in experiments studying the pathogenetic and morpho-functional changes in the organs and the systems caused by the combination of the essential hypertension and the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
