Hemmpeptide (inhibitory peptides) for inhibiting MyD88-dependent signaling pathways. The scope of the invention is a novel inhibitory peptide to a segment for inhibiting MyD88 activation. The invention encompasses the inhibitory peptide and its use for treatment of disease states associated with excessive innate immune system response.
