TARGET DESIGNED TO BE VAPORIZED BY AN ELECTRON BEAM, THE PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAID TARGET, THERMAL BARRIER AND COATING OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF SUCH A TARGET, AND MECHANICAL PARTS ON WHICH SUCH A COATING IS USED
The invention relates to a composite target in the form of a bar, formed of ceramic powders and intended to be evaporated under an electron beam, comprising zirconia and at least one zirconia stabilizer. Characteristically, said target is characterized in that said zirconia stabilizer is included with a molar content of between 2 and 30% and in that said zirconia is formed to more than 90% of a monoclinic phase. Application to the manufacture of a thermal barrier with low thermal conductivity and high thermomechanical resistance made of ceramic formed by evaporation under an electron beam.
