The present description refers in particular to a computer-implemented method,acomputer program product, and an embedded system for increasing the speed ofdata retrieval by a client on the embedded system, the embedded systemcomprisinga storing component, the method comprising:executing the client on the embedded system;executing an intermediary on the embedded system, wherein the client andthe intermediary are executed separately, and wherein the intermediary managesthestoring component;receiving a request, from the client at the intermediary, for a first contentelement of a document;determining, by the intermediary, whether the first content element is storedinthe storing component; andwhen the first content element is stored in the storing component:retrieving the first content element from the storing component; andsending the first content element from the intermediary to the client.
