COLORECTAL CANCER MARKER GALECTIN, METHOD FOR ANALYZING GALECTIN CONCENTRATION IN BLOOD SAMPLE, AND KIT FOR DETECTING COLORECTAL CANCER MARKER GALECTIN

Disclosed are: a presence diagnosis marker which can be actually used in clinical practice and is used for the purpose of detecting colorectal cancer; and a disease state marker which is capable of complementing CEA or CA19-9. Specifically disclosed are: galectin-1 which is used as a presence diagnosis marker for colorectal cancer or a disease state marker; galectin-3 which is used as a presence diagnosis marker; and galectin-4 which is used as a disease state marker, presence diagnosis marker or prognostic prediction marker for colorectal cancer. Also specifically disclosed are: a method for analyzing the galectin concentration in a blood sample using one of the above-mentioned galectins; and a kit for detecting colorectal cancer, which contains a detection antibody that is selected from the group consisting of a fluorescently labeled galectin-1 antibody, a fluorescently labeled galectin-3 antibody and a fluorescently labeled galectin-4 antibody.
