Provided is a histopathology image region-segmented image data creation system that is capable of creating region-segmented image data that is necessary to the generation of region-segmented images. A first two-bit image data creation unit (12) creates first two-bit image data that facilitates distinguishing cell nucleus regions from other regions in histopathology image data. A second two-bit image data creation unit (14) creates second two-bit image data that facilitates distinguishing background regions from other regions in the histopathology image data. A three-bit image data creation unit (15) creates three-bit image data that is region-segmented image data, distinguishing cellular regions by taking the NOR of the first two-bit image data and the second two-bit image data.
