ULTRASONIC INSTRUMENT FOR THE IMPACT TREATMENT OF HARD TO REACH COMPONENT AND WELDED JOINT SITES

The invention relates to ultrasonic instruments for the impact treatment of hard to reach component and welded joint sites. The instrument comprises a body with a handle and sliding guides in which a sleeve is mounted so as to be movable in an axially reciprocating manner. A head with strikers is placed at the end of the sleeve. An ultrasonic vibrating drive, the working end of which interacts with a slider, is placed in the middle of the sleeve. The slider is in the form of a plate arranged perpendicularly to the working end of the ultrasonic vibrating drive, and interacts with the ends of the strikers of the head and is mounted so as to be able to oscillate about an axis fixed in the head. Openings having a diameter which exceeds the maximum diameter of a striker are formed in the head coaxially with respect to the strikers.
